Also called joy sweets, are a welcoming treat offered by islanders to foreigners or offered to visitors during engagements, baptisms and weddings due to their white colour.

Our stars are handmade and weighed one by one with precision to ensure even baking. With routes from the eastern part of the island of Evia, our sweets are hand shaped into stars like my grandmother did. We then bake them slowly in the oven to preserve their white colour.  When ready they are immersed in a citrus flower extract bath (neroli essence) to give their characteristic floral aroma and covered in icing sugar.

It's texture and chewiness are addictive and leaves you longing for more.
