These semolina/ flour cookies are baked and dipped into syrup, then drizzled with Cretan Thyme honey and sprinkled with walnuts.
There is something truly festive and special when combining the warm winter aromas of cinnamon and cloves with orange zest and honey.
Almost crunchy on the outside, soft and syrupy on the inside, these traditional cookies are irresistible and will make you linger for more.
Our melomakarona are made with a combination of Extra Virgin Olive oil produced in our family orchards back in Greece, in the area of Pylos, as well as sunflower oil for a smoother finishing.
